A broadside issued by the municipality of Amsterdam regarding the proposed constitution for the Batavian Republic, which was published on 18 September 1801.

The announcement indicates that residents of Amsterdam can access the draft at various specified sites, including several churches and "oudemannenhuizen" ("Old Men's houses"). Following this, male citizens aged 20 and older will have the opportunity to cast their votes in favour or against the constitution on 1, 2, 3, and 5 and 6 October 1801.

The proposed constitution aimed to replace the one from 1798; however, the 1798 constitution restricted amendments until 1804. To remedy this, the electorate was asked for their input through a referendum.
